No Bake Reese's Tart

No Bake Reese's Tart

In this season of pies, here’s a super easy to make tart. A Reese’s Tart, to be exact. Personally Reese’s cups are one of my favorite candies, right behind peanut butter M&M’s (see a pattern here...lol). I mean, you can’t go wrong with the classic pairing of peanut butter and chocolate, am I right?? So the fact that this tart tastes just like a Reese’s Cup is a major win in my book. The base is a simple Oreo crust, which is topped with a whipped peanut butter and chocolate ganache layers. This dessert recipe is no-bake, which means that as your oven is full with dinner entrees and side dishes for your holiday gatherings or with all of your holiday baking, this dessert won’t require an oven space…

It has been a busy last couple weeks, filled with traveling, the holidays, hosting, and working. We were so fortunate to have our friends Josh and Cate come to visit us for New Years. They live in the Bay in California – and when California friends voluntarily come to the artic tundra that is Minnesota during the winter to visit you and your husband, then you know they must really love you lol. Lame. But thankfully we got...

Double Chocolate Banana Muffins with Peanut Buttter Drizzle

As I left work Sunday night I was greeted by inches of freshly fallen snow. The streets were quiet in the midnight hour as I gently drove home on the unplowed roads. Despite the beautiful white-covered scenery I awoke to this morning, the day turned out to be a very "monday-monday", even though I had the day off - which seems like it should be illegal, right?? Home bound with my newly acquired cough I dared not...

Peanut Butter Reese's Ice Cream

This past Christmas was quieter than usual as my husband and I celebrated with just the two of us here in our tiny apartment. Not only was it the first time that we weren’t with family for the holidays, but also it was our first married Christmas (eeep!) and our first white Christmas. Well technically it was a white Christmas as there was snow on the ground outside, but the rainstorm that came through that day tried hard to melt all of the snow! We cuddled together with...
